insane mushroom !

So i was hunting for magic mushies in the woods, and i turned out to inspect a dead log for shrooms and i found this insane mushroom ! it was white with black spots which had depth, they were kinda like studs on the belts these days, and i was mystified. it had a black stem, was really hard, and it didn't have gills, but a sort of sponge like material, similar to a filter on a cigarette, with lots of minute holes in it.

some kind of bolete. no lepiota that i know of has pores. post pictures.

Your description sounds like Strobilomyces floccopus.
