I have nothing against harmless loonies. But I dont like you crazies in these forums because people will rightly wonder if you are crazy because you take psychedelics or you take psychedelics because you are crazy.

I believe it is the latter, but the crackpots are clearly overrpresented around here.

Ha, why, because we challenge the status-quo? Because you can't accept the fact, that you don't know everything about the universe? And other people have experienced things you haven't, that are beyond our understanding? Calling people loonies does absolutely nothing, except that it refers you back to your own ignorance and misunderstanding of the possibilities within this galaxy.

You call people "crazies" and "crackpots" because your very own consciousness isn't aware enough to realize the fact that your perspective is only as valid as everyone else's. It doesn't put you on a pedestal. It sheds light on your own ignorance.

Ok man, ok. Everyone can believe whatever they want, that is fine for me. Some of my best friends are total loonies, crackpots and crazies. I tell them often, but they wont listen  We still like each other.

But people's beliefs have real world consequences, from research funds that could be spent, say, fighting cancer but are diverted to study 'paranormal phenomena' or ufo sightings, to the many lives of people that have been unnecessarily constrained or outright ruined by religion. So I feel we all have a duty to speak the voice of reason. But I realize people on the other side might think the same and then they become really annoying.

I think researching the abduction phenomenon is on the same level of importance as cancer research. Those lives matter also. Whether you believe it's real or not, it's been documented for eons in just about every culture you look into. Just because it's "paranormal" doesn't mean it's not real. It's simply beyond our understanding. I think what you refer to as "the voice of reason" also depends on the individual. Because what's reasonable isn't universal, it's dependent on the tangent of experiences someone has had and how they relate back to them. Also, "the voice of reason" now, isn't going to be the same "voice of reason" people refer to in 100 years, let alone, 50 years. People are only on the "other side" in relation to your imagination.

Besides, if our government wasn't so trigger-happy on the idea of war and all the money that derives from it, we could easily support research in whatever realm humans want. Simple. There's so much money in the world that could be spent on research in myriad unknown areas, but people would rather focus on what benefits them, rather than what benefits humanity as a whole.

That's what I am talking about. Freaking loonies. As long as you keep your beliefs to yourself, I don't care. If you start to contaminate the public resources with stupid ideas, we need to fight against that.

I am 100% certain that you have NO FUCKING CLUE what science understands or doesn't. Still you make these deluded claims about what we do or we do not understand, with no knowledge at all.

Read and understand some physics books. It will take you time and effort, if your mind is able at all to understand it at all. Then talk with a little knowledge of the subject matter.

I'm just tired of know-it-all idiots that know nothing.

And contrary to what it might transpire I am actually in good mood

You don't even suspect, not even in your wildest dreams, the deepness of our understanding of the physical world.

Yeah

Yeah I'm also in a good mood dude. Because you understand nothing <3

Also, I'm only stupid in relation to your perception. You simply don't understand, and that's okay with me. Because not everyone is meant to understand <3
