Re: ever seen a ufo? [Re: dummy]

I've seen a ufo once, but it was before I even got into psychedelics.

The only sky-related phenomenon I associate with acid is a spiderwebbing effect where on clear nights I see tracers connecting the stars.

Not exactly on psychedelics, but after smoking a good amount of weed.

Almost exactly a year ago on a camping trip deep into the San Juan river tributary, a group of friends and I set up on the river bank under a logging bridge.
Late in the night, myself and two close friends ventured up onto the wooden deck of the bridge to smoke a few joints, look up at the stars, and talk about life. It was a spectacular, moonless night, and we were far enough away from civilization to be completely showered in starlight. As the herb burned we lay on our backs, in the middle of the bridge (in the middle of a logging road) looking at the stunning display of stars and occasional satellite drifting across our field of vision. The conversation eventually turned towards life, aliens, and UFO's. My one buddy is enough of an enthusiast that he has a UFO tattoo and he stated during the conversation that his life would be made if he ever actually had an encounter.

I kid you not, within minutes of him saying this, as we wondered aloud if there was anything up in the billions of stars above looking back up at us something began to catch my eye. I thought it was just a satellite drifting diagonally across the sky, but as the object moved into the center of my field of view, it gradually began to brighten, until it was bright enough that my friends noticed it as well. Now that we all could see it, various "woah's" and "duuude's" were exchanged. This is where the object became extraordinary.

As soon as we all acknowledged that we could see this thing, which up until this point had been maintaining a steady trajectory, but was still increasing in brightness, the object STOPPED moving in the sky. Hovering there motionless, it became brighter and brighter until it dimmed all stars around it. By this time we were laying there, mouths agape unable to make a sound.
The object then began to move again, but now in a series of different directions, each one instantly changing by almost 30 degrees from the last! Almost as soon as it began moving, we all began to cry out incoherently, shocked at what we were witnessing. We even tried to alert the group of our friends below the bridge we were on, but to no avail.
After maybe 5 or 6 direction changes, almost as if the thing was circling us, it began to fade and reverted back to a linear course, until it looked just like any other satellite we had seen, and eventually faded into nothingness.
The story doesn't end there, but the rest is much more terrestrial...

Sorry for the long post, but I'm always excited to hear and share good supernatural stories.

Check out my threads, have had countless UFO encounters.

Above is a video where, after UFOs followed me and my friends, a seemingly purple pod object was hovering above my friend's house. As soon as I began to record it, it literally, and I mean literally, took off at the speed of light. Best part is, I got it on camera (: and this is only a fraction of a plethora of experiences where extraterrestrial beings and their technology have been in the vicinity of my being.

edit: you can analyze the object in the video if you pause it within the coming moments leading up to the first second. Here you can see, it is not from here (:

So just because inflaton is disagreeing and giving very plausible explanations for your hallucinations he/she must be trolling, right...

There’s a difference between being open minded and being completely daft.
Letting your imagination run wild sometimes is a good thing, but always remember it’s just your imagination, because the day you forget is the day you go nuts.

Can’t remember who said it but, “don’t be so open minded that your mind falls out”.

All for healthy discussion. I'm a trained physicist and can't argue about the fundamental constants on which we base our perception of reality.. And I agree there is absolutely a line to draw when it comes to allowing your imagination to wander.

This is also a thread asking about seeing UFOs while under the influence  :pipesmoke:  soooo coming in and trying to discredit every single post, however valid the arguments isn't (in my opinion) at all in the spirit of the original thread!
Just here to have a laugh and read some stories of some unexplainable sights and get SPOOKED, without all the negativity.
Is that to much to hope for?

Sounds like a deep seated Fear of the truth of reality. If you saw a ufo, alien, or spirit encounter you wouldn't blame it on your imagination, just my opinion.

I'm all for fun bigfoot stories, for kids or even for adults, but it needs to be clear they are just stories. Once people starts confusing fantasy and reality nothing good will come out if it. And I think it is perferctly fair to call it a fantasy when someone tries to pass fantasy for reality.

around this part of the Great Lakes there's a legend of giant thunderbirds - as related by a shaman - represented here in 3D as birds of prey such as can be seen nesting up in the crags and it's like that with people and groups too, only we have different imagery in this age of personal computers

Damn, didn't know you had the final say on Reality (: didn't know, you experienced everybody else's experiences out of 7 BILLION PEOPLE and have the final say on what they experienced.

As for the other individual, "worst video I've ever seen" I don't know what to tell you other than that object was probably not from our star system, but definitely NOT of our technology. No object from our universe hovers above a house, and then defies the laws of physics as soon as you begin to record it. Were you there with me? Have you literally been face-to-face with silent, multidimensional objects, not from our galaxy? Have you seen what I've seen? No. Sit down. Sorry your consciousness isn't aware enough to realize out of the trillions of billions of quadrillions of zillions of megatrillions of space, we are NOT the only life form to exist. Literally I'll never understand how people can't wrap their heads around the fact that other beings, other than ourselves, inhabit our universe. There's evidence in every direction, extending back innumerable years, and yet people still deny out of fear, or mainly, their ego. Understand, because we are here, it actually supports the fact that other life exists.

Yeah, very likely there are aliens. Nobody is arguing that. But you just dont realize how big the universe is. Travel from one star to another would take thousands of years. And from one inhabited planet to another, likely millions of years. Just factor that in in your alien theories.

And let me be very clear here: when we see a light in the sky of unknown origin, to think that it is originated by extraterrestrial aliens, is so unlikely that is JUST STUPID.

Ever wonder why no scientist gives any credence to those reports? Even the ones that are actually looking for aliens? As always you deluded alien watcher people think that you are smarter than all the smart people of the world...

Lets go back to our planet XIXIXO, these earth dwellers are just too crazy! We'll be back there in just 3 million years, did you get that mp3 player as I told you? I got bored in the way here!

But you just don't realize, the laws of physics don't apply to beings who have transcended what is reality to us. You don't realize, it doesn't take thousands of years to reach another solar system. It takes less than a few seconds, if you have the right technology. Zero Point Energy. Antigravity propulsion systems. Our government already has access to them, seemingly. And what I showed you, is not a light. It is a vehicle, within only a couple feet away, I could touch. Were you there? No. Don't make assumptions about the craft. It is a physical object with light emitting from it, not an independent light. No scientist gives credibility, because science cannot objectively verify subjective experience. Nor would any government allow them to officially give credibility to the Reality. Except for Belgium (; do your research. They can measure the external world. But think before you speak. Modern science would lose all credibility if it gave truth to the fact that what we know about the universe, and it's possibilities, is wholeheartedly incomplete. You see, our laws of physics would be transformed, and what we know to be objective and true, is solely independent on the capabilities of the person at hand within this universe. The laws of physics don't apply to them, they operate in a higher dimension were space and time can be molded like clay. Nor did I say I was smarter than anyone. Please, stop making assumptions and think before you speak.

I have nothing against harmless loonies. But I dont like you crazies in these forums because people will rightly wonder if you are crazy because you take psychedelics or you take psychedelics because you are crazy.

I believe it is the latter, but the crackpots are clearly overrpresented around here.

Ha, why, because we challenge the status-quo? Because you can't accept the fact, that you don't know everything about the universe? And other people have experienced things you haven't, that are beyond our understanding? Calling people loonies does absolutely nothing, except that it refers you back to your own ignorance and misunderstanding of the possibilities within this galaxy.

You call people "crazies" and "crackpots" because your very own consciousness isn't aware enough to realize the fact that your perspective is only as valid as everyone else's. It doesn't put you on a pedestal. It sheds light on your own ignorance.
