My choice would be music by Steve Roach or Max Corbacho. Textural soundscapes that already feel like a portal from another realm is spilling out into this one while sober!

dwpineal said: Some really great suggestions in here! I'll have to check out that Matisyahu track, never thought of him and DMT before, probably a nice high vibe.
For me, the music really creates so much of the character and uniqueness of the DMT hyperspace. Each note creating emotions and visions integrating seamlessly with my emotions...I've listened to a lot of music of all types, but a few years ago I played a track that has stayed with me ever since. It was really an oddball choice for me, but WOW!
My thoughts exactly.

If you havent tried it yet, i highly recommend blasting off w/o music outside. i did this for the first time a couple weeks ago.
i decided that i wanted to do it outside... so i set up a couple lawn chairs and went for it. as soon as i came back to my body and opened my eyes, i could hear the craziest noises coming from the sky and the trees around me. almost sounded like a didgeridoo, but with a twist. then, a nice steady breeze kicked in which was AMAZING to say the least!!!!!
IMO, a must do for the hyperspace traveler.

AquaKet said: The first couple times I did DMT, I was listening to the song Echoes, by Pink Floyd. I'll never forget that. Nowadays, though, I always blast off in silence. Silence and darkness. I haven't been in the mood to smoke DMT in a long time, but next time I do I'm probably going to slip on my Mindfold at the last minute.
When I trip on mushrooms, I light a few candles in my room, sit in zazen and immediately after I drink the tea I put my Mindfold (so exciting those moments )and when I have to urinate and take the mindfold off I suddenly see the surrounding (it's like WAAAW) ...it's way better this way then let's say trying to keep the eyes closed, you are tempted to cheat.

I like a quiet comfortable room, with a person i am very comfortable with, with no music.
