Question about storing LCs in 30mL Luer-Lock syringes (and using up 6 cups of it)

So I've just filled 14 30mL syringes with colonized liquid culture. The syringes are Luer-Lock tip type, but they did not come with the screw on caps. Right now I have them individually in the bags they came in, but these bags cannot be sealed because they are full and the plungers are extended outwards. Do I need to worry about the semi-open ends at the tip of the syringe letting in contams? If so, what can I do to seal it? I have some silicon gel leftover that I had used for the self-healing injection ports, should I put some of that on the tips?
Syringes are exactly like this except 30ml:
 The "open tip" is circled.
Also, while I'm asking, after filling 14 syringes I still have approximately 6 cups of fine LC (I made a lot because I was experimenting with different sugar mixtures). I have more syringes but I can't imagine ever needing more than 420 ccs of live spores , so I stopped at 14. It's probably still too hot to grow outside here in Florida for another month or two, and I live in an apartment complex anyway, so are they any good uses for indoors that could use 6 cups of this stuff besides the standing inoculating jars and making lc? Since I want to use it up, if I let WBS dry out pretty well and then used a lot of of LC per quart jar, say 10ccs, would that hypothetically grow any faster than using 2-3ccs?
I mean, I could just keep the rest of it as is, in jars in my frige, but I'd like to see you what guys say.

Fuck thats alot of LC.
They should be stored with a needle and cap and in a two sealed bags.
10mls no problems, i do it when i want balls to the walls fastness. just add a bit of verm to the well hydrated but dry WBS this soaks up excess liquid.

Thanks, badman. I'll definitely be trying that out.
I don't have any caps, they didn't come with my syringes. I'm wondering what to use instead of caps.

i suppose 2 layers of cling film could work.

That's what I ended up doing, 2 layers of cling wrap then put them in a sterile small little 5 qt locking plastic tub, wrapped that in cling wrap, and stuck it in the (relatively) clean frige. Hope it's good! I've yet to encounter a contam so I'm hoping my luck doesn't run out on these. Still have the original spore syringes from Ralph's if they do though.

500th post
Hell yeah Reuse the syringes by boiling in water (I PC them but most people don't). I put them in small oven bags, PC, seal the bag good as new
Keep the needle that will last years just flame up always. i also PC needles as well as flaming.
Try to have the same number if not more needles than syringes.

For the record if anyone has a similar problem in the future, the whole saran wrap idea failed pretty miserably.
I went to inoculate some WBS today to test them and I didn't even bother.. they stunk of CHEESE.
I emptied them out, soaked them in bleach, and will boil them.
Also I ordered the syringe caps separately so I wont have to worry about this again.
Lesson: Make you order TIPS or CAPS with your luer locks!!!
