Can't stand the presence of my g/f
    #10935830 -

God, Just being around her is pissing me off. She didn't really do anything...The last week she's been a real bitch, (she blaims it on pms:rolleyes:) I hate that damn excuse...I've about had it...It feels like that part on dumb and dumber where Loyd is making the "most annoying sound in the world". I've been with her for a while (7-8 years), you'd think i'd be used to it, and i have to an extent (selective hearing), but a times it's just unavoidable :nonono:.. Would you judge me if i taped her mouth shut?

whoa thats a long time. if shes changed maybe you should just tell her that her changes are annoying (in a nicer way) and ask whats wrong (in a way that would work)

bitches dont act like bitches for no reason.
seriously, theres a reason for everything

That's the WORST.  I'm that way with my little brother, probably because I've lived with him for 21 years now.  Just hearing him walk around the house gets my blood boiling.  Maybe it's time to have a talk and see if she feels the same and what you two should do about it.  7 years is a LONG time, if you made it this far and you still love each other I say tough it out.  If you feel it may cause disaster in the future though maybe it's time to call it quits.

Man, my lovely lady has been giving me grief too!
Just picking fights with me, bring up irrelevant shit from the past.

Then again, she is about to start law school, and she apologized and said she was feeling stressed.

Gotta be supportive!

Yeah bickering is a normal/healthy part of a relationship IMO.  If that's all it is, it'll pass.  Just make sure you don't bottle it all up.  I read a study that said balling up emotions doesn't eventually lead to a breakdown like previously thought but things like this are different.  You should let her know when something bothers you right then and there but in a polite way.

Very true advice. If you want something to work, you can make it work.
I can say I've never disrespected her, or cursed her out.
I know she just has a hard time with stress at times and try to be a rock for her.

IMO there's no point being in a relationship with someone unless its a mutually beneficial and uplifting experience, otherwise.. why bother?

if she is just being bitchy.. walk away for a bit. but under no circumstances leave for the night.. you may get hell from her for that. just go in another room and drown her out with some TV or what not.

i know exactly how you feel. Just moved in with my gf of almost 5 years for school, along with one of my buddies. I know it's either going to make it or break it for us.

hey mate i think i know what you mean. love covers a wide spectrum, over time. perhaps it has changed to something else now and you should determine what it is, to get a hold of your relationship with her?

7-8 years is a long time, and nostalgia is always the best reason to remain in a relationship. you have to decide if nostalgia is more important, or the mysterious unknown. your gf is not your little brother, so think hard about it!

i get irritated by my gf too but i think the problem is me, not her.

i have to disagree with this, no relationship is perfect and if you have some problems with someone you have to find a way to fix them.

If you would be happier not in the relationship, you shouldn't be in it.  Why do you 'have' to find a way to fix problems when you can get rid of them instantly?

because nothing is 100% awesome or 100% shit?

cut yourself off from shit, you cut yourself off from awesome, too.

the main thing is to decide what's gonna make you happier in the long run, and that shit ain't easy. not easy at all.

OP, are you BoneMan's best friend?  If so, this might work out, they love each other.

No seriously though, if she isn't making you happy then end it.
