yeilds
    #1093234 - 11/28/02 05:29 AM (14 years, 13 days ago)

It seems only maybe a hand full of people off this board get decent looking yeilds.. the rest have the same sized cased area and only have a few mushrooms sparcly growing on it..

seems like the average guy is getting less off cased areas then with cakes..

just my opinon after looking threw all the grow logs and other pics

The "good" yields are usually done with some kind of spawn (poo, straw, etc.). BRF casings are good if done right, but poo is the way to go if you want some great flushes. I'm not really sure how this is advanced, but whatever.

Not really a dung thing, I think it`s an experience thing.
You`ll learn after a few grows how to pack your substrate and how to apply a casing layer to promote an even flush.
Once you grow one good flush you`ll never look back.

There could be reasons why you don't see posts of yeilds when they are good eh? Like people only bitch when it's not good for one, and how bout the fact THIS IS THE INTERNET and people might feel well, strange about posting when things turn out well?

You can be sure people are doing ok once they have some experience under thier belts and damn it, it's just dosen't seem to really work for some folks.....

I totally agree on the experience thing, but don't you feel that if you were to compare a two 1/2 pint brf casing to poo spawned with 2 1/2 pints of brf, the poo would give you a bigger flush due to the fact that the poo will give you more substrate for the mycelium to "feed" off of?

Once someone knows how to manage a casing to promote even pin sets, a half dozen brf cakes cased will yield more than any person needs for the next few months. Unless they are selling or sharing EXTENSIVELY.

I think the thing is that people post shitty flushes, and people post holy shit fllushes on the latest fad of a substrate. Some people post their success with dung/ straw whatever just to show others how things are done. A lot of people seem to just want to say, see, I use poo too!

I think it's an issue of posting habits and not an issue of what kids are actually yielding off of what.

Yeah, i don't think this is very advanced either.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.
