HEPA filter for under $20

http://www.shopvac.com/dev/catalog/detail.asp?id=320 HEPA Cartridge Filter For High Efficiency Particulate Air filtration that's 99.97% efficient down to 0.3 microns. Fits most Shop-Vac? Brand wet/dry vacs (except 1x1?, AllAround?, FloorMaster?, and Hang-Up? vacs)
This filter would make a nice addition in converting a regular shopvac into a flow hood (just remove the filter bag, and set it to reverse blow) and then you just feed the hose into a box. But I was wondering if there were any impracticalities with this idea.

boy i got a big warning about reviving this post
LOL
but i did a search for shop vac hepa and found only this.
has any one done this for an air flow into a glove box etc?
i bet a large diffuser like a funnel or something would provide enough area to work outside glove box?????
i know a good air flow comes from a shop vac.
or i wonder if any one uses a vac period too.
just looking for a quick contam free air flow

Yes. The part about it being laminar. It won't. If we could get away using cheap filters, we would not build the big expensive type that we do.

but in a closed glove box would it not frovide + air flow with no contam in turn if it were used in conjunction with a diffuser would it not become laminar as the flow rate decreases when defused.
