if you've heard about this, then you may be as excited as i am. tim burton is making an alice in wonderland movie... she's 19 and she ran away from her wedding and goes back down the rabbit hole to the mystical wonderlandian world, but doesn't remember being there. johnny depp is the madhatter, saw that one coming, but with good reason. its gonna be in 3D too, which i've heard new 3D movies are incredible.

not gonna lie....terribly dissapointed by the trailer. johnny depp's costume looks unbelievably cheesy, and the entire trailor just threw off what i was hoping to see from the highly-anticipated release. looks like the original cartoon is going to be much better, but we'll see.

I agree. The poster of him looks good but the trailer was kind of lame. I was hoping for more freaky.

I can't fucking wait! I thought the trailer looked wicked, and I've never been to one of these new fangled 3D films so what better time to pop my technologically challenged cherry? :p
There's a club night I go to pretty often doing an Alice In Wonderland themed night in March to celebrate the release so I'm gonna try and go see the film then head out to the club and really take myself to Wonderland :p

I have confidence that Tim Burton will deliver at least a decent rendition of Alice.
Anyways, it's bound to be better than most tries, which seem to all turn out to be failures.

I thought the trailer was extremely disappointing. Here's hoping the movie is significantly better.

You mean his animation is similar. Can't the exact same thing be said about Disney or just about any other cartoon producer that has his own style?

Any director for that matter, each one has his or her own quirks that are evident in all their movies...for Tim Burton his quirk just happens to be weird as fuck lol.

Looks awesome.
The trailer wasn't too great but that only means it was a bad trailer not that's going to be a bad movie.

I'm anxious to see Burton's interpretation of Alice. His dark style has always intrigued me.

I must say I think Burton is one of the most highly overrated directors of our time. Charlie and the chocolate factory was god awful, really just terrible.
Now what does look fucking awesome is Where the wild things are. Spike Jonze is a great director and overall I cant wait.
