Does anyone have info or links on the F+ strain? Have done some searching the web but cannot find any specifics. Does it go by another name? What temps are optimal for the different stages of growth?
Thanks

I think it also called the Florida strain but I could be wrong.

Joshua was the one who discovered this strain. He would probably be the one to talk to. I believe it also goes by the name Florida strain, but don't quote me on that.

Its a cubensis, temps don't really differ from strain to strain.

Cool...Thanks! I thought it was probably a cubensis but wanted to check. I have it incubating at 82-85F

I'm gonna try to upload pics as I go along and put togeather a grow log if it turns out. The above pic is of my incubation chamber. the Bottom tub is a water bath with a tank heater. I added an air bubbler next to the heater to curculate the water and reduce hot spots. The thermometer goes through the top and down into a vase full of water. Thought that would be a good way to figure actual substrait temp from outside.

If you look a couple of posts above you will see why, he explains it: " I added an air bubbler next to the heater to curculate the water and reduce hot spots."

I put in the bubbler because I was not getting even heat dispersal and the bubbles tend to curculate the water better.

Why have the thermometer in the vase? Does that give you a better overall temperature reading?

yep, F+ is an isolation, by joshua, from a wild friut that, i belive, origionated in florida.
also, the therm in the vase is going to throw off the temp, water has a high specific heat, and hence, will read lower than the relative temp of surrounding material.
