i tried this for my first cake and it worked well but then i noticed that it would be easier to use a larger type of terrarium, because it was difficult to get the cake out without touching it or bruising it. I also thought the shrooms might get in the way to even get my hands under the cake to pick it up. I would recommend some sort of a tupperware container with clear sides. The lid might not fit air tightly but you can get some insulating window foam tape to put along the top where the container hits the lid.
