First off, how cold is to cold. im going to east texas and i know its pretty cold there. I think I remember reading somewhere that it can be as low as forty degrees and cubensis will still grow. But then i run into humidity. I dont think it will be humid enough. They have been getting small amounts of rain there. I have searched the internet for information on temps for cubensis but can find them.
PS If you have been hunting around lake palestine and have got lucky let me know.
Where abouts in East TX are you headed? I'm in Waco- about 1hr West of Palestine. I haven't been there yet to hunt but I've heard nothing but good things about Palestines' cube growth all along highways 84 and 79 to LA.
I'm not exactly sure how cold is too cold but I've found them in the 50's a few weeks ago after heavy rains. But they weren't cubes tho, they were Copes. I'm up for a road trip if you are!!
