SO I recently put all my stored mycology stuff out of the kitchen fridge into my mini fridge not realizing it was on the coldest setting and all my LC and MYC h2o froze along with some qaurt jars. All is lost im guessing??

Maybe not, I believe I recall hearing RR say that he has frozen spawn before and then ended up using it with no problems. I think cold temperatures may just stall cubensis species, but I'm not sure. It's high temperatures that actually kills the spores.
This is all hear-say though, so Im not sure.
Let's wait for a more substantial answer.

Something interesting I should mention. I had 2 myc waters, 5 LC's and 1 pint of sterilized distilled in this mini fridge. The oddity here was that the distilled didn't even attempt to freeze?? Thought this was very interesting, don't have time to research about it today so I thought Id mention..

I recently read an old thread of agars explaining that fruitbodies grow by cell enlargement rather than division.
So perhaps the cells can handle the expansion without bursting. Could be the mycelial cells aren't as stretchy as the fruits, but who knows. It's worth a shot.

Just got done searching the site for info. Buncha promised tests and experiments with no follow up. Well my test is underway, pressure cooker just hit 15psi with 2 quarts of brf (yes quarts) the only free jars I had. I'm only testing the viability of 1 of the LC and 1 of the MYC-2-0. Will post back results when determination is made....

So I decided to test all 5 LC and both myc waters. Went with some grain on the rest. Just got done knocking'em up. Yesterday I knocked up 2 BRF quarts (actually used Rye Flour). I will post back determination with-in days. My BRF/RF jars seem to takes about 3-5 days to show growth with the cultures I have. Soon as I see something or nothing i'll picture back..

wouldn't the cells freezing cause them to burst because of the increase in volume that water experiences as it goes from liquid to solid?

Yeah, that's why i mentioned the fact that fruitbodies grow by cell enlargement. (They're stretchy.) Unlike a plant that has more rigid cell wall of static size. Question is just whether its stretchy enuff to survive the expansion of freezing. Guess we gonna find out soon enuff
I'm gonna guess that they will survive. Given there's plenty of species that thrive in cold environs where they certainly must freeze from time to time. Although cubes are tropical...so wait... I change my guess to they gonna die...hate it when i argue w/ myself...

I accidentally froze my syringe too. And I did have myc growth on all three jars that I noc'd up. But they all got contamed. So I don't know if it was the syringe or what. I took every precaution from bathing to using disinfectant on all my clothes. The only thing I didn't do is use a glovebox. But I'm trying again and I'm taking some more extra precautions this time.
