Storing LSD: Freezer -> Room temp.

So i have 3 hits of 'cid and they're' sitting in the freezer wrapped in aluminum-foil and saran wrap.
But, I've heard and I'm wondering if there's any negative affects transitioning them from the -0* F to storing them immediately in a box in my room, which is room temperature?
I've heard it's best to slowly warm it up... but I want the truth and to know what you all have experienced? And your best ways to store Lucy?

Damn, that's a fucked up way to store L. The freezer is so full of moisture I'd be afraid of destroying the LSD.

Eh, I've read otherwise and that it's very normal to store it in the freezer, so I'm cool on that.
I just can't keep it in there anymore cause of the chance my roommate eyes it and wonders what it is.

If you must store LSD in the freezer your number one priority should be keeping the moisture out. Foil and saran wrap won't do it. You're L will be destroyed not preserved.

All right, so back to my initial question... what's the best way to store it at room temperature?
Is it fine to just throw it in my dresser or should I slowly expose it to the warmer temperatures?

You can't go wrong with going ahead and transferring it to the fridge first. Definitely not going to hurt anything to try and let it gradually get cooler. Might as well be on the safe side :P

I say just put it a normal spot in your room, like a drawer. Thats what Ive always done and its never failed or degraded at all.

this guy i know has tried just about every method of storage that would be logical, and the best way he seems to find effective is to wrap it in tinfoil in a ziplock or saran wrap, and then to place this in between the pages of a book. reason being, this provides an unchanging temperature, and keeps out light. fuck with it as little as possible, no need in cooling it slowly it will gradually reach room temperature fine on its own. remmber the less you fuck with the shit, the less the chance of degrading the potency.

No, you should be fine. How fast do you think it will thaw? It will be 'slow' enough, but it's not like you are taking it out of the freezer than throwing it in an oven. I don't know if how quickly it moves from freezing to room temperature matters at all.
The best way to store it from all conditions is in an opaque and sealed container that does not have any moisture in it. Over there on the humid Pacific coast, that is something to consider just sitting in tinfoil, but not to be paranoid about.
I guess the reason why you'd throw it in the freezer is to slow down the molecules from interacting as it wouldn't evaporate until closer to boiling water temperatures, but this is only speculative.
So in other words, I'd skip the freezer all together.

Yeah, I'm not too worried.
It's safe where it is now.
In foil, saran wrap and in a tight canister packed in a box in my fairly dim closet.
Thanks e'reybody.

NEVER put LSD in a freezer. The amount of moisture in there would destroy your LSD. Yes, LSD stores better at low temperature, but it's a really bad idea to keep it in a freezer because you cannot not control all the variables.
Take LSD and put it in tinfoil. Place on page 100 of a thick text book and store it in a dark place on your shelf. No air, moisture, or heat. Freezer is one of the most common mistakes you can make.

Moisture isn't that big a problem compared to the main reason for LSD degrading ie temp it's stored at. Anyway, if you store LSD at say -18'C (average freezer operating temp), the amount of water vapour in te air is negligable.
Every drop of 10'C doubles the effective life of the LSD (an increase of 10'C generally doubles the rate of any chemical reaction and LSD degredation is subject to the same chemical kinetics as it is due to a conversion to the more stable d-isoLSD). Compared with storage at room temp (say 22'C), storing it in a freezer extends the life of LSD 16 fold
If you wrap them up in plastic foil and keep away from heat and light, they may last the rest of your life.
Light, heat and (to some extent) oxygen are what you want to avoid. Moisture will not degrade LSD to any material extent. It is UV light that you want to worry about. UV light and any other reactive material (which could include water, or oxygen) will cause degradation. Moisture on its own is not a problem. Adding a weak organic acid, such as ascorbic acid, should help prevent degradation.
