It is the middle most from what I can tell. The last tub I harvested is much bigger.

Just substitute rye flour and treat normally? I would love to do this until I get my pressure cooker...

Citric, Do you ever open the tub before harvest?
How big is your little fan? Do you have the closet door closed during the day?
What's your light source?
Very good thread!

The only times I opened the tubs were to snap pictures quickly.
The fan is like 12 inches or so. Not very strong. You can't feel it unless you are in front of it. I have it right outside the closet pointing towards in and it oscillates back and forth around it. I keep the door semi closed, probably around 2/3 of the way closed.
My light source is just a regular cabinet I found at Wal-Mart. Nothing special. Think it is like 16" or something.

I've done some research on the rye flour and it seems that while doable, it seems a little risky. People are saying it's a slow colonizer, and that you really need to PC it due to endospores. I guess you could steam it, but have to deal with more contamination?

Normally that would be a sign. I never had to mist however, but it is also pretty humid where I am at.

They were only flushed twice. The second flush was much much smaller but produced monster fruits.

Do you think they would have made a 3rd flush?

I'm getting ready to do my first bulk grow and was wondering.....
how many flushes you could get from tubs like that?

With bulk grows I've seen people pull over 6 flushes. I just never liked flushing after 2-3 times. I always rotated whatever I was growing so in with the new and out with the old.

...Nice Grow! You guys never seize to amaze me! ...and dude, I totally feel you on the "Better quit now while I'm ahead" feeling... b/c I've been busted before and the shit was TERRIBLE. (to say the least) and totally not worth all the shrooms in the world in the end...
I think that's an important part of growing (illegals) ...that YOU HAVE TO HAVE A STOPPING PLACE!! ...you know?
Like, okay... "After these jars colonize, thats it!!!" or, okay, "One more flush, then I'm throwing all this shit out!" Then you have to actually FOLLOW THRU with it!! (which is easier said than done)(IME)
Successfully owning and operating a full time class C? felony "manufacturing" mushroom facility is enough to wear on anybody's nerves!!! A "Stopping Place" must be attained at SOME POINT. that goes for EVERYBODY! (so listen up,& pay attention noobs) THIS is how you do it!!! You grow, and then you STOP GROWING!!! Get it? Grow... STOP!! SO I totally feel you on that, Take what you Got, Thank GOD for it, and Toss all your shit (not your salad)(your grow operation) until "Maybe later in life" kinda thing.

TO THE GREAT GROW! LONG LIVE THE SHROOMERY!

After looking at your style of growing and the words in your posts, i'd have to say you remind me of myself wayyy too much. I also quit growing for some time and started helping other's but now that i've taken a break i feel more comfortable doing so for a short while. Keep doing what you do man, awesome grow, peace.
