The Lactarius indigo are really beautiful.  How do they compare to other Lactarius species?

All edible Lactarius are about the same.  They aren't very good if you fry them up by themselves but they are a great addition to more complex dishes.

Not sure which of the Copelandia you gave more spore for, but it's doing very well.  The spore print was nearly perfectly clean.  The agar projection is pretty good, as was the liquid culture.  The bags look good too with 30% full colonization in 48 hours.  It'll be interesting to see how well it fruits.

Excellent finds and photography Alan, how does your red Hygrocybe species compare to this one, it looks very similar to me, were the lamellae yellow with a red margin?

The gills on mine were yellow, not so much of a red margin.  Also my species is smaller and seems to like to grow in grass.  These were in pastures near some bushes but no trees, in Psilocybe mexicana habitat.
