Not to brag or anything (because this burns holes n' pockets) Its one of Alexi Laiho's signature series, from Children of Bodom.
http://www.zzounds.com/item--ESPALEXI600
One of my favorite guitar players in the werld, right here, picked out these nice features.
I've really stepped up playing, some of his solos actually and whole songs.
Also, I don't know who this concerns, really, who plays any musical instruments.
I hope yew all having a good night such as I?

Awesome, I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come!
I myself am about to buy a new electric guitar as well. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Jr., which served great as a beginner's electric, but now I'm getting more and more serious, so I'm looking to upgrade.
Here's the guitar I've got my eye on: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-Corsair-Bigsby-Electric-Guitar?sku=513843
seems like a great value, and a really nice guitar.

My baby
I'm not a shredder, so I don't really go after those sorts of guitars, but the ones I have played have been pretty nice

Do it!!
I have a schecter c-1 classic i snagged off ebay minorly used, and i love everything about it, you pretty much can't beat the value on a schecter... active EMG's, one piece neck, mahogany body, ebony fretboard, string through, 24 jumbo frets, and a badass inlay for under 900$ is pretty much unheard of for any other company..

Cool, always good to hear good things like that.
I just wish I could find more reviews/demos of the particular model I'm interested in. But the ones I have found are great. I was wanting a semi-hollowbody because of the versatility, and this schecter's got pretty much everything I want. The coil splitting ability is a big plus, being able to get a whole shitload of different tones is way up there on my list.
The Michael Kelly Patriot series was also a consideration of mine. I had never heard of them til I did some searching, but they seem like really nice guitars for kind prices.
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Michael-Kelly-Patriot-Shadow-Electric-Guitar?sku=512295 (an example, there's plenty of other models in the line. and they make lots of other lines as well!)
I still may very well be looking at some Michael Kelly's when the desire for another solid-body comes creeping into my head.
