No growth

I inoculated 12 1/2 pint jars, and one honey water jar with B from sporelab about 12 days ago follow the PF-tek word for word. I then put them in the double container water incubator, and kept them at 80 degrees. I lost two to contamination within the first 2 days, but after that the other 10 and the honey water have been sitting there with no growth whatsoever. Do I need to wait longer? This is my first grow, but from what I've read 3-5 days is normal for jars kept at the correct temperature, and over 10 days would be abnormal for all 10 jars and the honey water. My only thought is that there is a problem with the spores...Is this viable?

Thats strange as I've heard B+ are pretty quick at colonizing etc. I'd give the remaining jars another 5 days or so to see if any growth develops. Have you tried smelling the jars? If they smell a bit sour etc they are probably contaminated and should be discarded.

Your incubating temperature is a bit low but even at that 12 days is a long time. I'd raise the temp to 85 and give them three more days or so before opening them and sniffing for contams. I've had the rare jar take up to two weeks to show growth.

well my liquid innocs were shitty too and they were pr?!? strange thing is it was like 5 days at 82F for them to colonize. and some multispore allen strain beat em to showing myc. damn karo!

It sounds like it's either the substrate itself, or the actual syringe. What were your methods of sterilization?
