What are the flea-looking bugs infesting my outdoor patches???
    #10848596 -

Subject says it all.  You've seen what a flea looks like right?  Well it looks like a bunch of fat little fleas tunneling all through my fruit bodies.  I can't even really let em fully mature because these bastards have just taken over.  I used slug bait and that did in the slugs but these flea-like things and the gnats are eating way more than usual.  Any ideas?

You ever seen that movie Constantine.  Well they pass into hell several times.  In hell there are melting human bodies, in your tub are melting mushroom bodies.  Your tub had passed into mushroom hell.

Shoot me a pm if you would like a powerful custom laser built. 4th pic is a 1.3W 445nm laser burning thru some plastic makeup containers. Yes I was wearing proper safety goggles, otherwise I would be blind right now.

i doubt its fruitflys. i have fruitflys in my place and they are more interested in my kitchen than my tubs of myc and mushrooms in my living room.

The fungus gnats like my tubs, but dont seem to eat the fruits. And there un willing to fly away even with persuasion, makes them easy to kill.

Im about to dump that tub with the gnats.

Im a little worried about my mates though, as he has ow got them. He grows alot of plants and has had problems with bugs in the past.

I had a search and didnt find much info on controling fungus gnats. fly paper doesnt seem to get rid of them, they get cought but more appear. traps the same thing, fly zappers.

Only suggestion i found that seemed like it could work would be to clear out the whole area, dump anything thats been infested and bug bomb the place, start fresh.

Its outdoors though there probably fine.

I could really give a shit about the fruitflys and gnats.  The real problem, as the subject says, is the flea looking fuggers.  They don't fly.  So anybody else have any experience regarding the original topic?

A pic is worth a thousand words.
And while we may not be able to ID it even then, I'm sure there are insect enthusiast websites*, and somebody can ID it and advise you, then you can tell all of us.

*It's not buggery.com.

You can snatch them from the air like a kung fu master.

It is worth a thousand words but my digicam is messed up and it is also dark here now.  That was the purpose of the description.  It looks exactly like a flea, but it burrows in the mushrooms.  Can't be any more specific than that.  If these bastards were crawling on a dog, I wouldn't know the difference.
