First I would probably buy a mansion. Somewhere in San Diego. Then I would throw a big fucking party and fly all my family over and give them a sum as I see accordingly fit for whatever they want to do with the money, under the understanding that it is a freebie no questions asked, any inquiries for money in the future better be for good reasons.

Then I'd probably buy a bunch of hookers, meth, coke, alcohol and a couple of good friends and go on a wicked bender. After I get the psychosis I'd probably go to my moms house and take a shitload of Valium and safe from the creepies.

Then I'd really have to think of investments and how to keep myself safe from motherfuckers trying to jack me.

Take some vacations and trips, mushrooms are a given.

I would move to the beach and get several hundreds of acres where I can build a dirt bike track, have a small lake stocked with fish and a large organic farm with a big grove of fruit trees.

I would build an average sized house with a killer back yard BB-q oasis with a huge swimming pool.

I would have to build a big metal barn to hold my car collection and my boats.    Aaaaagh I've thought about this way too much, now I need to go and buy some lotto tickets.

Haha, than that's the way the wind blows. If you got to know me as a person you'd know after I won the lottery I'd just sort of shrug and go play Frisbee with friends. Maybe I'm crazy, and I guess most folks think I am.

As a matter of fact, I've already given up money in pursuit of happiness a long time ago, and I'd probably do it again without so much as a care. I've never really wanted anything in life just handed to me. I guess I consider my lack of wealth as a blessing, a sentiment to the fact that I'm not completely isolated from the common man, that I am not immune to the struggles (both financial or otherwise) that other people have.

That I can be subject to pain, torment, tragedy and humiliation just like anyone else. To try and buy my way out of it would be to deny myself the entire human experience. After all, that's why we're here. Existing is practically all we do.

Buy 20 houses. Rent them.

That way if it all goes tits up,I'd have something to fall back on.

I'd go on a world tour,maybe buy a house on each continent for myself.

Station myself somewhere secluded and hot,maybe even buy my own island so I can do whatever the fuck I want.

I also don't buy lotto tickets, what a waste of money....

But if I did, and I won:

I'd pay off my parent's house.
I'd finally be able to buy organic foods at the supermarket.
Donate 10.5% (4M) to various charities. I'd probably do a lot of research and split it up pretty equally among 100 or so charities.
I'd join the alumni association at my college so they'd stop calling me, and then enroll in a new college for grad school.
I'd pay for grad school for my friends.
I'd buy my girlfriend a car that has airbags. Probably a Prius, and convert it to a plug-in.
I'd rent a bigger apartment.
Travel.

And lastly, I would donate more than Ed Royce will raise to his opponent next time he runs for congress. Suck on that, Ed.

I'd spend $8 million on helping loved ones and on fun.
The $30M will be split four ways, to buy 4 equal shares of $7.5M in physical gold, silver, platinum and palladium.

I will assume to live for 50 more years, thats 600 months, over which I will spread $30M = $50.000 a month for spending.
