If you're worried about your dad noticing something, then it's probably a bad idea.

I would wait until you have a free night without any obligations or responsibilities, otherwise it's a very real possibility that you'll still look/feel a little off.

Or, at the very least, give yourself a couple extra hours and start your trip in the morning.

I know when I'm coming down from mush, I'm usually reflecting on my trip, not trying to make conversation. Then I get the shits. The mushroom shit. That normally smell like garbage and dead people, so I wouldnt want to let a fat one go while at the dinner table with my pops.

Save them for a day where you can relax and not think about what you have to do later in the day. If your nervous about meeting with your dad while your tripping and him finding out, then you'll more than likely put yourself into a bad trip.

It sounds like a bad idea since you may be in deep reflection after your trip and being with your dad may be weird.

Don't do it, after a trip you won't want to have to push your brain into having regular conversation with your father. I Know what it's like, having to talk about normal things to normal people after coming off a trip is lame. Either try and post-pone the dinner, or post-pone the mushrooms.

i say don't do it if you're gonna be interacting with your parents. they are older than you and are more experienced than you might think. if you think they won't notice you're pretty ignorant. parents KNOW. they always KNOW.

Yeah.

Even though you might be fine when din din time rolls around,

the thought of having a planned engagement can burden down your trip at full peakage.

Tripping is more fun without responsibilities.

i was going to dose myself last friday in the morning and then meet my dad for dinner and a moody blues show. i decided to wait for a better time because being worried on a trip takes ALL the fun out of it

on the other hand, if this is the best time to trip since your p's are gone, dose yourself early. wake up at 8, eat breakfast, then eat the mush and jump in the shower. youll be trippin by 945 and will be mostly normal by the time dinner rolls around

just be smart

Ok, Now that EVERYONE has given you good advice.

Sounds like a great idea! As long as you write up a trip report afterwards........ I think it is a awesome plan. Hey, and ya know what else? You might be able to bond with pops a little better in the shroom afterglow.  :mushroom2::heart:
