Agar question - streaking spores

Hey!
I am trying my luck with some agar experiments, to which I'm a complete newb.. I was a bit too eager to get started, and didn't realize spores should be streaked on agar with an inoculation loop if they´re not dropped as spore solution with a syringe or such. I simply scraped some spores from the print, which then dropped on to the agar.
So my question is - do you think they will germinate? It has been 3 days now at around 29 degrees C.
It's just an test to see if I can get the agar routine down for some more important jobs I want to do, but if none of you experts think there is a good germination probabilty for those I already made up, I will just make a couple more with some homemade inoculation loop substitute.. maybe the head of a nail?
Thanks for any input

Dry spores, not hydrated? They may germinate.

I wonder if it would be useful to drop a drop of sterile water on them, or if you are better leaving it alone? Leave it alone, I suspect.

In a few of the jars there is a bit of excess water pooling, which is of course a potential contamination hazard in its own right, but maybe it will actually turn out helpful in this case then. :-)
I'll post an update after a week or two, or if there is any germination then before that.

I think I've got germination around all clumps of spores in at least one jar.

once you place something on the agar, you don't want to reopen the dish until the culture has colonized. doing so greatly increases the risk of contams. best thing to do is wait. you most likely still have more spores in case it doesn't take.
