 2 week consolidation for Malabar cakes {PICS}--update.

Race/Strain- Malabar Coast from shroomery vendor.
FC - shotgun, 4in perlite, 2ft 24w fluorescent light(6500K), mist 5-6 times a day, I don't manually fan, but I do have a ceiling fan on all day. Terrarium sitting on empty 1/2 pints.
D&R'ed cakes after fully colonized and 2 week consolidation period.
Rh: ??? ( I bought a cheap $10 analog hygrometer and it won't calibrate)/ Temp: was normal room temp for awhile then my AC decides to shit on me, so I had to put a couple of ice packs in the FC and lay a damp dishtowel on the front. Changed em out every couple of hours.

AMAZING pinsets you got there. I love the mushroom growing off the cap of the other, we got a few pics like that once in a while. This isn't your first grow, is it?

sweet i just dunked 7 cakes of malabar and will be rolling them today. hopefully i can find a camera and take some pics once they get going. I am exicted, this is my first attempt at growing with no contams. anyway your cakes looks awesome so far, enjoy those mushrooms!  keep us updated please!

very nice. I like the way you worded the topic. Full consolidation of the substrate is absolutely necessary to achieve a great first and even flush.
I usually give my substrate anywhere from 5-7 days after full colonization to consolidate.
