no but have found 10 wet lbs or so this year, it has been a slow year in the seattle/ bellingham cyan scene. about a qp of libs, 1/2 oz of stuntziis, and a single cluster of baeos, bout 5 wet lbs of azures, not too bad :wink:

i dont think they grow around here much i met some guys today in astoria pickin azures calling em liberty caps lol

I met those guys, too lol. cyans grow in astoria as well.

yea lots of people call azure cyans i usally dont say anything because i dont wanna argue about it. but when someone calls em liberty caps i gotta say something they were even out of towners i think. they came to the wrong place for liberty caps azures are whatcha want when your in astoria i just weighed the dried ones i have and i got 7.2 grams :laugh:

one of these days i wanna eat some and go picking i think that would be great

im near vancouver, i found a total of 5 cyans this year. in two different spots. never have seen a cyan with a wavy cap either.

first time I ever went to astoria the guy that was teaching me the ropes told me that I had to eat the first one I found because it would bring me luck. an hour later I tripped on a log and fell into a bathtub sized patch of azures!!!!

hmmm, that is a great tradition. i'm gonna tell all the newbies that one.
but on the other hand, my first find was a bunch of stuntzii's and i was right down town not so good for trippin.

yeah, the first one I found was approx 11 grams fresh, quite an adventure. then they tried to get me to drive... LOL there was no fucking way.

yeah dobie i feel ya'..cyan's in pdx/van..as i've written before, there's no reason they shouldn't be here i can see (except the semi-lack of rain lately)..i have been scouring..no one i've ever talked to has ever found one here either (although they don't look much, and i've only been here a few years)..i've checked rhodadedren(sp.) gardens, landscaping, ect..to no avail..but it doesn't add up..they are crazy in seattle/oregon coast..we are pretty much in between..why not?..there doesn't seem to be too many other peepz from this board in this area either, so maybe it's just up to us to find out..though it would be nice to just know there's "some" hope, rather than wandering aimlessly about..again..and again..and again..congratz on tha azure'z..i'm so there tommorow..peace..
