So how's the weather over there?
    #10822886 - 08/08/09 01:48 PM (14 years, 7 months ago)

It's been a strange summer in these parts, usually in our monsoon or rainy season
about now.  It's dry, cold, and windy as shit lately, I have to be careful going outside
to smoke a cigarette.

Seriously this is Arizona at the beginning of August and it got down to 41oF last night

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=86023&hourly=1&yday=219&weekday=Saturday

How is the weather in your parts?

I'm in Phoenix.

It was 76 fucking degrees this morning.

Sweet relief.

Feels like autumn  Maybe we'll get a really nice long autumn.

41 degrees sounds awesome.

You've got lows in the low 70's man.  That's fucking awesome.

We have gotten to 120 here but its pretty rare, at least at the airport where the official temp is taken.

Portland, OR here.

69 degrees and cloudy.

This comes after a recent heatwave where we had 100+ degree temperatures for about a week.

It's stupidly hot and humid today.

Heading down to Chicago tomorrow, supposedly the hottest day in 5 years.

And JewUnit and 30,000 other idiots are out in the middle of shadeless Grant Park at Lollapalooza.

I bet people die.

It's too hot for that shit.

Excellent. Im sure coverage is pretty spotty or how is it? I thought about getting one of those but they are soo expensive

I am definitely going to seek your expertise when I get back home and start planning details of my camping trip. Im taking the lady with me so I wont be doing anything intense. More just a relaxing weekend before school starts. Looking to do some fishing though

Basically wherever I have phone coverage I have high speed internet.

I'm out in the woods and can stream movies, with 5 bars it's as fast as
a coaxial, the signal does degrade with the less bars, it's $60 a month and
I got in with Alltel the only company that offered true unlimited bandwidth
unlike the 5g cap everyone else has.  It truely kicks ass!

Check out Bull Pen on West Clear Creek, down river from where we went
last time you can drive up to the creek and camp there.  It might be a little
hot during the day.

if you go to Oak Creek definitely park at Midgley Bridge and hike down to
the creek there, it's where all the college kids hang out.
