What exactly causes the cakes to "bruise" when in the growing chamber? Why would they bruise a few days after being birthed? And not a few hours?

Cakes that slowly turn blue or brown over a period of time are usually drying out due to low humidity.

Hmmm Just curious, I have cakes in there now and I just noticed a splash of blue forming on the top of one and a tiny bit on the cake next to it. They have been in the chamber for a week not and turned that color about 3 days ago.
I dunked and cold shocked before birth so I don' think they are too dry.
Also I still have no pins, just some fluffy growth here and there.
