Damn I'm impatient

Well, I got sick of waiting today so I just birthed one of my 4 jars. It was pretty well colonized except for the bottom which I removed before casing with jiffy mix. The cake itself was alot different then I expected....kinda sticky and weird feeling, although I don't know what I was really expecting. I've really been half assing it the entire way, using next to no sterility precautions and I seem to be doing ok so far, so I'm hoping this amazing fungi is gonna pull through. :laugh:

yeah i was impatient then it fucked me, then i just turned sloppy and used organic white all purpose flour. which i dont know if it will work or not...... it says it was certified by OCIA... woooo hooo! whatever that has to do with whether my shrooms get the nutrients they need or not i dont know. you seem pretty lucky so far. best of luck to you. may our half ass fruits pay off...lol
