Confession time
    #10813190 -

I ate my first cherry about a week ago.  It was delicious and now I can't stop.  I'm eating them right now.  I think I was put off by them because when I was little I didn't like cherry 'flavor', so I just assumed that I didn't like cherries and never bothered trying them.

They're really fuckin tasty.  YUM!

I'm the same way. I despise cherry flavored stuff, it tastes like cough medicine and paint thinner to me. But real cherries = :awesome:

I accidentally bought some cherry flavored crasins the other day. I figured I'd try them out anyway. I ate two and threw the bag away. Fucking nasty.

Was it raw?  Yeah man, that's what I'm sayin!  Cherries are tasty little bastards.

Craisins are great too, I don't know about cherry flavored ones tho, that sounds pretty gross.  Craisins are good in trailmixes with chocolate covered almonds.  Damn, I think I got the munchies.

I was expecting and "I'm gay" thread.  But, alas, cherries seem to be your weakness.  As is it mine.  I've got about 100 fresh ones in my fridge.  I want to know how they get them like they do in the cans of mixed fruit.  Or like on top of a sundae?  Are they artificial, or just a certain type of cherry?  They're delicious like that.

Pretty much all fruits are awesome if fresh. Not a fan of mangoes, papayas, or a lot of other tropical fruits though.

The fruit flavorings just suck. The only one I always like is Green Apple.

Oh man, banana cherry smoothie...that sounds like something I need to try.  I'm the master of smoothie action.  It will be time consuming getting all the pits out, but I think it will be worth it.

If you have really ripe and sweet cherries you can usually squeeze the pits out.

You will be stained red for sure though.

OR! You can get one of these things:

Cherry pit remover. It has a cup shaped thing at the bottom to hold the cherry with a hole in the middle of the cup (for the pit). The top part is this plus sign shaped thing that is about an inch long, it punches a hole in the top of the cherry and forces the pit out the bottom though that hole in the cup. I'd imagine an olive pit remover is the exact same thing.

I used to fucking hate cherries and hadn't had one in years. Then I tried some like a year ago and now I'm hooked. Too bad they're kind of expensive.
