i still don't understand what that would mean.

How can there be "too many people" too many people for what? its like you said, they die off from hunger, so there aren't "too many" for too long...

well, for one, all these people produce a lot of trash. And they take up space, pollute, eat food, drive cars, go to concerts. It's gonna be impossible to get tickets in ten years.

And they default on their loans. It takes two parties to create a loan transaction. Both parties are responsible. But I do agree with you, U.S. taxpayers should not be underwriting loans to anybody, this goes against the principles of free market capitalism. The lenders should assume full responsiblities for writing bad loans and the government should not force the consequences upon the taxpayers.

As a capitalist who is married to a capitalist, who has a son who is a capitalist and many friends who are capitalists I would like to remind you that the be nice policy applies to your untrue, illogical and inflamatory statement, "The first step would be to stop the capitalists raping and devastating Africa so people didn't need to have 10 kids in the hope that one will reach adulthood and be able to provide for them." African countries are economic basket cases due to their own governments, their lack of well defined property rights and lack of honoring contractual obligations.

Actually, I feel colonialism played a lot bigger role. They were doing just fine living off the land and what not until "we" (I use the term loosely) came in and forced them from their communally owned lands into privatized individually owned housing, shoved taxes down their throat left, right, and center, and started controlling their food supply while forcing foreign currency upon them.

It's no wonder that they are "economic basket cases" as you put it, since we forced them to become part of a system that they never wanted to be a part of in the first place.
