Where are the PCP users?

The only drug I have almost never seen discussed on this site is PCP. Personally, I think it seems like it can be pretty dangerous and it doesn't have a "selling-point" like the ketamine k-hole, but I think its wierd that people on the shroomery use/have used almost every drug known to man, but nobody talks about PCP. So, where are all the PCP users?

I voted maybe,

but maybe the fact that very few if any shroomery people have done pcp speaks for the drug itself

just an assumption  :shrug:

You know, I've heard a lot of misinformation and scare tactics about a lot of different drugs.  PCP is, for some reason, the only one where I believe most of it (maybe datura also).

I don't know why for sure, it just seems that no one has a good opinion of the drug.  Of course, there is no denying the stories about guys out of the gourd on PCP being nearly unstoppable fighting machines when police try to take them down.  It doesn't seem like it has any benefits from what I can tell.

Oh and just for the lolz...watch the video.

Do I count as a PCP user if the only reason I haven't tried it is because I've never had the chance?

It can't possibly be as bad as it's been made out to be, and even if it was I'd give it a go ONCE, in a controlled setting. As I would any hallucinogen.

I'd try pcp once, but I'd never pay for it.
I met a guy once who said him and his buddy used to dip blunts in pcp and smoke that shit all day. Even he told me that shit's no good for you and all it does is make you crazy. I'd still like to see for myself what it's like.

I smoked a joint with either formaldehyde or pcp and i haven't felt right ever since.
After I smoked that joint, i blacked out the first day, was sick as fuck the next 2 days all i could do is just lie there in a daze spaced out.
maybe it wasn't pcp but my friends said i was acting crazy.

Well what do we see here?  A guy you met once who smoked "that shit all day".  What makes people think that dosing heavily on cid every day would'nt make for craziness and unhealthy mind states?  I know somebody who did just that and ended up spending a good deal of time institutionalized and continues to need a stong antipsychotic regimen to keep it together(note that this person was fine prior to lsd experimentation and was also fine with infrequent dosing).  Yet do I speak of lsd as if it was the devil?  Nope.

Pcp is not a good introductory psychedelic.  However, if one is experienced with psychonautical exploration, doses conservatively until a sweet spot is found, and upholds the same safeguards an intelligent person would use in regards to set/setting and space between experiences(2wks is usually a healthy timeframe), then I assure that PCP can be used very beneficially.  It's amazing how effective the campaign against the stuff has been.  While ketamine is my favorite dissociative nmda antagonist and drug in general, if the choice was between dxm and pcp, I would definitely alternate between the two.  If it was more readily available in powder form, I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat!

I was the first to vote for tried and liked.  A shame only one other joined me.  Anyway, I think it's high time shroomerites start adopting the attitude that no drug is inherently good or bad, and that it's the application of that makes the difference between a gift and a curse.

I didn't mean like psychosis crazy. He said you basically lose your mind while you're on it and feel like you can do pretty much anything. This was a black dude I met from houston so I don't doubt his experience with it.

Closest thing I have tried is DXM. I really can't imagine PCP being that much worse to the point where your fighting off 20 swat team members with a twig you found on the ground.

from "What i've heard" pcp absolutely makes you lose any inhibitions - you turn into an animal and do things simply because you can. your brain cannot communicate - you feel no pain no emotion, you just do whatever the fuck your subconscious makes you do and you can't fight it, i've heard stories of the guy cutting his face off, slicing his fingers off, feeding his junk to his dog - etc. etc. but maybe they're just stories?

datura on the otherhand seems more reasonable then PCP - but still sounds pretty out there, I like decypher's descriptions of it the most :smile:

Funny, it seems that while a large majority of voters aren't actively planning on ever taking pcp and a majority would never do it, over 50% of people who tried it, liked it.

i would do it

if i had someone sane in the house

and a low amount

i've never freaked out on any drug or had a meltdown

but pcp seems like that's the.... goal.. of the whole thing?
