How to keep my terrarium at an ideal temperature?

Man, mushroom growing is so exciting as so many of you already know! Anyhoo, my house gets very cold this time of year and I am worried about my terrarium getting to cold for my mushrooms. I am growing B+ which I now know works well in cold, fluctuating temperatures, and is a great strain for a beginner which I undoubtedly am. What can I do to keep my terrarium at the right temperatures for both colonizing and fruiting? I looked in the FAQ but was unable to find any info on it, maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. I was thinking a small ceramic heater on the exterior of my terrarium, blowing the hot air towards it. Any ideas? Thanks a million!

i couldnt get any mushrooms to grow until i made the incubator from a fish tank, fish tank heater and rubber maid container. bought a hydrometer and digital therm from radio shack for a couple of bucks..
