Identification for Maine Mushrooms
    #10792417 -

Hey All!

I'm a newbie--just joined today.  And I am just starting to learn about shroom identification.  I have visited this site many times to read your posts.  I've been finding these lawn shrooms and some of their aspects seem to match active or edible id's.

I'd really like to know what these are.

I took some pictures...

1) Here they are with lightish - but definitely purple - spore print, goldish/white caps, whitish stems, with straight fibers and no bluing...

2) And here is a bowl of them, showing brown gills, stems and caps...

Any help in id'ing would be greatly appreciated.  I love edible mushrooms too and would like to eat these suckers even if they aren't "active".

Thanks so much!

Psathyrella species. Not active, not edible.
