Probably not a good idea to trust a Mycological title written by a Basketball player eh?

It's "Encyclopedia of Fungi of Britain and Europe" by Michael Jordan It seems a good book apart from that...

Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Clothing Industry, Now Mycology? :handth:

My guide is extremely old and outdated, so I guess I don't have much to say.

NOOOOOOOOOO you beat me to the joke. I'm really depressed now. Time to follow suit with the rest of America and pop antidepressants until I don't even know what life is anymore. Hmmm.

Be patient and wait for the liberty caps. I live in Finland too on the west coast and they should start growing here in a few weeks. I picked my first liberty caps around the 20th of august last year but there were lots of them so they had probably been there for maybe a week before me and my friend found them.

If you speak swedish like I do you can visit www.flashback.info and go to the hallucinogenic forum and look in the sticky called "FAQ: Toppsltsskivling (Psilocybe Semilanceata)[officiell identifieringstrd]" for help on finding them.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I was probably just eating foenisecii or something. I will keep an eye out for the real thing, at least now I know what a liberty cap should not look like

Don't know about the flashback forum, but I found some other swedish info on this fantastic site: http://knarkkorven.magiskamolekyler.org/svampinfo/svamparisverige.php#panfoe

How does this:

Look like this?

 Anyway you've figured that out by now. But those do indeed look like Panaeolus cinctulus. Make sure to dry them well I use a fan for 12 hours then over desiccant for another twelve. Everyone talks about how weak they are but 1.5g got me to a solid level 1 where others are talking about eating 10+g for level 2 and 3.

I have never tried cubes but Panaeolus cinctulus tastes godawful I'm making an extract just to be able to get them down.

Sorry  I just had vague memories of libs having a nipple and some dark ring or something. I got exited and posted here right away before searching for more information. Typical nOOb I guess  Won't happen again.

No need to apologize just don't go wolfing down mushrooms without getting them IDed first and you'll be fine.
