I was reading the Aenima inside cover (Tool) when I came across this statement:
"Ritual Magik is a system of disciplines and exercises aimed at activating parts of the mind we might normally never use (about 85%)."
anyone into performing Ritual Magik care to shed some light and experiences with it?

Research Crowley and chaos magick. "Magick is the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will." Aleister Crowley
Dancing at a rave could be considered a form of magick, and that makes neurological changes in the brain.

I don't know a lot about ritual magick at the moment, odd considering I've been wiccan for awhile now..... but this is the jist of my understanding of the basic concept...
Magick is change, it isn't "supernatural" or superhuman or based on any special powers or skills that one is "gifted" with. Prayer is a form of magick, dancing, making music, pretty much anything creative or destructive that changes you is magick in one way or another.
Ritual magick is the organized practice of magick for specific purposes, intentionally directing energy and focus in a certain way for whatever reason and using rituals and symbolism to aid in this.....
ok, thats about all i know. Its definitly something interesting to find out about though, and chaos magick looks fascinating.

theres a belief that ritual magic is just the summoning of parts of your mind. when you summon demons its a manifestation of thoughts you see as evil and angels are sections you see as good.

Can anybody explain the Wiccan belief to me?
I always come across wierdos who put curses on people they don't like ans stuff. I didn't think that was the average Wiccan thow. That's why I don't really know about them or their beliefs I guess. I wouldn't want to form a preconseption now.

That's a very interesting way to look at it, and that possibility runs through my mind often.

I read thos liner notes myself just recently, and became interested. From what I can tell. It seems to be mainly about obtaining higher levels of conciousness and using psychic energy (aka Life Energy) to cause change. A few basic things for beginngers is to learn to see and feel life and energy, then learn to direct the enegy usng magnetism, I haven't got too far into yet myelf. For a begginner course check out

I dunno about how accurate their shit is but it made sense to me and some of the expirements seemed to work
On Wicca....From what I've gathered, wiccans practice what we knowas Ritual Magik. It's not about using Black Magik to cast evil spells etc. Wicca seems to encourage spiritual evolution with or without the use of magik.

i think the way they were reffering to it was thus:
the world is more than it seems, so you have to create a science to manipulate it. this science isn't neccassarily accurate, but as long as it works it doesn't matter.
its a way of making the enormous and unfathomable usable, by mislabeling it.
