i am having problems finding if it is feasible to make ceviche con shroom.

I have made ceviche before, but how would the citric acid work with the active compound over a 6 hour period?

Perfectly ok. Many people believe that the citrus increases the effect somehow!
I LOVE ceviche. The Peruvians use all white ocean fish and fresh scallops, but if your not comfortable with
using scallops and shrips (like if your from the midwest that shit will be too old by the time it gets there IME.)
Try preparing it with a rare tuna or fresh water whitefish.

The only way i can imagine this tasting good is if you prepare it with fresh picked shrooms.
If your talking about non active shrooms i recommend using enoki, either cooked in olive oil first or with a LIGHT
soaking in sesame oil.

Great idea tho, either way :thumbup:

i am thinking ceviche with pulpo. i love octopus, and i think it would complement the texture.
