You can use winzip to zip the folder and put a password on that.

Thats a good question, just lock your computer. I don't think you can lock a folder.

What you want to do is encrypt a container
Use Truecrypt It is used to make a file that is locked, and looks like any other file. this file can be any size, and put on any type of media disk Set it and forget!
But seriously, you can name it something innocent, or even something resembling a windows file.

Really? You think a folder with a password will make her more or less suspicious.
Make the folder hidden some where that you would not normally put a folder
Or just name it some thing benign in a program folder some where that no one usually looks.
If i saw a folder with a password, i would want to look inside.
And do you really need to be hiding things?
