Can I use my casing layer substrate for making and colonizing my cakes instead of say the pf tek? Could I just add some flour to make it nutritious?

Huh? I don't get it, you intend to add BRF to your casings, what are they gonna be in? Explain yourself a little more, please.

English please.
>>If you're asking if you can make cakes out of your casing material(s),the answer is no. Unless maybe you wanna soak peat moss in some horse poo tea.

Arghh, ok. My cakes are made up of BRF (brown rice flour) and vermiculite with water, in other words, the pf tek. My casing layer for my cases is potting soil which consists of peat moss, perlite, lime, and other things like seeds and bark chips. I was just wondering if I could use the potting soil instead of the pf tek? Couldnt I just add some BRF and it would be the same thing kinda?
Why Im asking this is, the potting soil is cheap, and you only have to do one thing, add water and steralize. Just a question, sorry for not making any sense
