not really. i know a lot of people that talk to themselves. we all do it internally anyway it's no weirder to say some of it.

Yeah I talk to myself internally a lot. I have some friends that talk to themselves out loud, its not really that big of a deal.

If you are doing it in public where others can here you, and you are just blabbering random nonsese....THAT is insanity.

maybe they're like a tv the mute button just got fried and they're just surfing through all the programming in their head with the volume up but aren't aware or don't care. i wonder which it is

Im usually pretty quiet. If im good friends with the person it doesnt get awkward. With a stranger its a different case.

Don't worry I know where you are coming from. I can totally let my mind "surf the channels", mainly when I start to dose off or lay down for a nap or something. I just let my mind pull out thoughts at random and it makes me have crazy dreams.

Man I can dig that. Insane people prove how flexible our consciousness really is, and that's a cool thing to know. I'm extremely glad there are crazy people, because without crazies we wouldn't have any borderline crazies ... and without those dudes, way less awesome shit would've happened. Like the internet. Or surrealist art. People doin' shit that initially makes no sense to others.

i think ive heard silence only a few times in my entire life you have to be really really high or perhaps just focusing on something like a sunrise and weeding out all the other noises around you, I bet one could go nuts if they couldn't block off certain channels but then again thats what being really really high feels like sometimes.

and please dont kill the stories lord kknows i don't think much

I completely agree. I think this is more or less akin to the role of the shaman - to find meaning in their chaos, and maybe adapt it or relay it to others who cannot see.
