I need some help with casing. . .

Okay, I am gonna case some cakes in a few days, and i think the way i wanna do it is the 'crumble n case' method. I'm wondering if someone could give me some detailed directions for casing this way? And also, I am wondering if anyone knows what miracle gro will do for your shrooms if you use it as part of a casing layer?

Are these brf cakes? The best detailed instructions are in the FAQ. Don't know what miracle grow will do, but don't use it, you're not growing plants.

To case, all you do is clean out a small casing container, crumble or grate (with cheese grater) your cakes and make a level layer of substrate (cakes), then apply your casing layer.

Miricle Grow will do nothing good.
