Thanks!
I only got a handful, so I'll be drying them with the rest, and crossing my finger for more finds!

That's a White fringed orchid.

Why thank you very much Curecat! I admit that I carried that leaf with me for a while today just for that purpose! I think that's a baby Tricholomopsis rutilans.

Those are nice pictures. Over what time period did you find them?

The result was worth it, if you ask me.

Just in one spot under a beech from moss. These represent the last of them. I hope they flush again, or I find some more. I like 'em!

They look like Hygrocybe.

Maybe a faded H. psittacina, though the cap colours are more brown than peach, so probably a different species.

I have to admit, they had me goin' for a minute...I found a unopened cap nearby that was completely blue! After I calmed down I thought Hygrocybe. They were very slimy overall and I considered the stem, gills and habit. They didn't strike me as being H. psittacina, but I don't know what else they could be.

I have no experience when it comes to the identification of mushrooms. Are any of those edible? Gourmet or otherwise?

Thanks to everyone for their kind words and input!

renorcordic, the first ones (the black trumpets) are a fine, easy to identify edible. The last white ones are destroying angels...probably deadly.

May or may not be.  There are many blue/green Hygrocybe species, and probably a handful of which change to a duller colour as they age.  Probably some undescribed species as well.

If that IS what they are, then they are absolutely deadly.  I mean, if you ate enough.  But it doesn't take much!
