The hookahs I smoke are significantly smoother than any other substance I smoked, so I guess my bowl packs, my roommate's bowl packs, and the hookah bar's bowl packs have less additives.


They are smoother because the smoke is filtered through water :kingtard:

There are objective data available on hookah smoking versus cigarettes.  Its been shown that hookah smoking actually exposes users to the same (or greater levels) of carcinogens, toxic chemicals etc.  This even takes into account the fact that most only smoke hookahs once or twice per day at maximum.

Unfortunately, these aren't published data, so you would have had to attend scientific conferences/seminars etc. to hear about it.

They'll make it to press in the next year or so.
