a mixed green pesto recipe

i returned home to my garden yesterday, following a couple of weeks out of town. finding much of my produce ready for harvest, i decided i should make some pesto.
i gathered several carrot tops, harvested some basil and a couple young leaves of mustard and brought out some of my last batch of garlic. i also raided the fridge for a red onion, jar of pickled peppers and the cupboard for salt and olive oil.
i'd like to make my pestos by crushing, but since i'm somewhat lazy, and own a blender i generally use that. no harm; no foul.
i chopped several carrot tops, yeilding one half cup, and did likewise with the basil. there was less than 1/8 cup of the mustard, which was quite pungent. these went into the blender with 1 cup of olive oil. i like to use light [refined] but suit your tastes.
next i thinly sliced 4 cloves of the garlic and 4 of the peppers. you can use a sweeter pepperoncini for a more delicate heat but i like a hot chili in almost all cases. i chopped 1/8 cup of the red onion and added these to the blender aswell. finally i added 1/2 tsp of the salt.
i pulse blended this for several minutes on my blender's chop setting until only a few pieces of the garlic and peppers where still coarse.
it turned out fantastic.

it's nearly gone, i'm going to finish it off when i get home from the pub.
i trust yours turned out great aswell.
beet wine got a bacterial contam, i'm trying it with fresh beets the next time. i do have a hair under 4 gallons of a nice dark dry stout in the works, and bubbling away. if it turns out like i'm hoping and lives up to the name, i'm calling it Guiltless Extra Stout, in honor of Guinness.
