Music for a happy trip

Here's some music I highly recommend for a happy, sun-shiney, take you to the land of yellow submarines type trip: Olivia Tremor Control-Dusk at Cubist Castle, Black Foliage Beatles-Magical Mystery Tour The Sunshine Fix-Age of the Sun Polyphonic Spree-The Beginning Stages of.. Beachwood Sparks Pink Floyd- "Green is the Colour"
I HIGHLY recommend Polyphonic Spree, expecially if you can see them live. They are a 25-piece band, incredibly happy, and they put on the best show you'll ever see. I'm seeing them this saturday in Dallas and I'm planning on low-dosing. It'll be the best experience ever.

The DEAD!!! The tripiest, happiest fuckin music of all time. The live stuff is really good because it is REALLY improvised and long, which makes it good trip music. But the studio stuff is Quality. The studio version of china cat sunflower is mindblowing, also I highly recommend the studio of Terrapin Station, man, it's undescribable. 7 minutes of another world.

I don't think I've ever heard the Dead.
-------------------- What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

murex as a deahead i can only feel sorrow for this but this has been my music for liberation and it`s not fair for me to say everybody should follow whatever gets you off is right the deads improvishonal style of always keeping the music new helps us to stay centered in the now . this is were creation is. with the combo of music that put`s us in the present moment and psyhedelics this alows a magical occerence to happen. a pipleline to the higher conciesness as all ego is dissolved., we all became one. this is opinoin based on over 200 dead concerts and even more expriances useing this music to aid in ego disollving

Phish is nice as well. And Blind Melon has always worked for me... though it's not exactly the happiest, it puts me in a good mood.

Im no deadhead but Terrapin Station takes me to a whole nother place, I can almost just see the land and explore it in my head when I listen to it, and thats sober.
When im high, I dont know what it is..... its like trying to describe a high to a person you know has never gotten high before..... you can describe it to a T but its nothing what its really like.
I also like the song Ripple, perfect for when your burnt out as all hell and dont want to go to sleep yet or something.
As for my pick.... I have to say when I listen to Hotel California or Takin it Easy, by The Eagles, I just get a warm happy feeling in my stomach not unlike what marley gives me.

Shpongle - Tales of the Inexpressible will guide you towards bliss most of the time, but drags you around in the dirt a few times just for fun
100% "happy" music doesn't do it for me - I like UP and DOWN, ya know? You get happy, get almost as happy as can be, then get torn back down so you can go through the act of getting happy again. Staying there isn't as cool as GETTING there.
-=- Matt/Strumpling -=- oh yeah try Ozric Tentacles - The Hidden Step as well - very talented stuff
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.
In addition: SHPONGLE

You're damn right. I love to listen to Tool - Lateralus on trips, and that isn't 100% happy, but when the blissful parts kick in, it's oh so fucking good!

i agree with the recommendation for phish in a nutshell, phish's music is pure joy. My absolute fav. song is Harry Hood from the Great Went. When it all builds towards the end, my whole body gets covered in goosebumps and i cant help but smile and dance. and that's when i'm sober...
