BEST MOVIE TO TRIP TO...
    #1073751 - 11/21/02 12:44 PM (21 years, 3 months ago)

DJ Q-Bert's Wave Twisters...you guys gotta check this shit out, its an animated movie, whichs story came from dj q-berts cd of the same name, its like a big music video...he made up most of the storyline while trippin on acid and wanted to make a movie that made people feel like they were on drugs, its a must see!
check out : www.wavetwisters-themovie.com for clips and www.djqbert.com to get the dvd!

peace

Not the best film to trip to though, its so depressing. Thats if you mean pink floyds the wall. Best film to watch must be Fear and Loathing or Yellow submarine.

For a series of short films, check out www.ninjai.com . . . just make sure that you download them first because the wait can be a bitch, especially if you don't have broadband. Also maybe not so good cause it isn't finished yet . . . but I really enjoyed the first 10 shorts!!

Fantasia is pretty neat.

however, i like to close my eyes and trip to those improv "movies" that play in my head when I'm tripping  Very expensive-looking productions with loads of special-effects and intricate set-design

Which one?

Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

Woah chinacat I hadn't noticed you said that - I skipped right down here to post that. Exactly what I was trying to say, with much less words ;-)

And Murex...... who are you talking to? We can't tell - you're not replying to the right people again my man!! I'm so CONFUSED!!!

Confused; as usual.

Oh the first one....... I didn't even see fantasia 2000...

But man watching movies on psychedelics, in my opinion is a large waste - the visuals in my own head are always so much more impressive

-=- Matt/Strumpling -=-
but yeah; the first Fantasia

There are actually 3 Fantasias. I've only seen the first one as well.

I agree, but I'll probably watch a movie on the come down or right after.

The original Alice in Wonderland is fantastic. Also The Doors is fun, the new Phish DVD from Vegas will tear you fucking head right off, and oh yeah! the big lebowski.

I totally agree, Alice in Wonderland is so much fun. Fantasia 2000 is actually pretty good, but it can get a little boring.

You've all got it wrong. The best movie to trip to, hands down, is Pretty Woman. Far out.

rofl haven't you guys figured out that as long as the movie isn't terrible or terrifying, basically any movie REALLY KICKS ASS on psychedelics? As long as you suspend your disbelief and let yourself like it, you'll REALLY like it.

Same with music, actually. Any album that is relatively cool will really kick ASS.... However some albums will reach out and GITCHYA!

James and the Giant Peach... Amazing. It actually looks like the world does on dmt - or is that just me?

The Princess Bride... inconceivable.

Blade Runner... in any state of mind - the greatest film ever.

The Lion King... the hyenas are on acid

I watched Alice in Wonderland on lsd and it scared the shit out of me.

The Life of Brian... big nose!
