DMT Shrooms

I read somewhere that it is possible to grow "super shrooms" that contain DMT by soaking the casing layer in a DMT solution. Supposedly the DMT can be absorbed by the growing mushrooms, and the result is shrooms with both DMT and psilos which would make for a crazy time. I am a bit skeptical about this however because i only read it in one place, and havent been able to find where this was. If anyone has any info on this please let me know thanks.

the tek that i read about used the pf tek, and the vermic that was used in the brf cakes was soaked in a solution of crushed, powdered P. tuberosa. This vermic was then used in both the brf cake and the casing. My question was whether or not the mycelium could absorb a substance like dmt. I read your link, but dmt is not a precursor to psilocybin, so i don't think it would be synthesized from the dmt to just provide higher levels of psilos???

Ahh... what happens is the mycelium absorbs the nutrients from anything in its substrate. What do you mean in the last line???

Apparently supplementing with a small amount of tryptamine HCl will cause very potent shrooms, but why bother? It would be far easier and less expensive just to grow twice as many shrooms and eat them all.

DMT is a precursor to psilocin, which is 4-Hydroxy-DiMethylTryptamine. And obviously psilocin is a precursor to psilocybin.
The question is whether it can be used by the mushroom. Perhaps it needs to be in salt form (DMT HCl, etc) or perhaps it can't be used very readily or at all. I've read several posts on this topic in which ppl say that they don't think DMT is very usable, but as zeta said, Tryptamine HCl has been proven to increase alkaloid levels (Dr. Gartz). Don't go ordering Tryptamine HCl though, unless you want a house full of cops.
If you want better potency; eat more, do an extraction (ethanol), or grow a more potent species (ex. Panaeolus Cyanesens).

I was looking forward to get some super powered shrooms by using DMT containing mimosa hostilis tea instead of water, but after about 3 weeks of watching the mycelium grow only a tiny bit I realized that with all the DMT in the mix the pH must have been WAY off. I think it would work but you'd have to adjust the pH with maybe calcium carbonate (precipitated chalk) from a brew store.

Keep in ind that unless taking in combination with an MAOI DMT is not orally active as salivary amylase will cause the substance to degrad to a non psychoactive compound. SO even if you were able to grow mushrooms which contain DMT you would have to smoke them which would really be a waste. You could take your mushrooms with an MAOI but the list of things that can not be taken with an MAOI is quite extensive (SSRIs are a huge no-no unless you happen to be into out of control blood pressure).

the dmt would be converted to psychoactive psilocin/psilocybin. no smoking the dmt would be converted.

Plus the tryptamine HCl mushrooms would only be valid for short-term purposes because of psilocins' rapid degradation rate.

It does not have a "rapid degradation rate". Stored at room temperature, dry, in the dark they'd retain potency for months.
