been reading through the contam forum and think I need to early birth a cake and remove the contaminated bottom. Heard some mention of patches. What should I do?. Planning on cutting the bottom part where it's uncolonized and looking green and keeping as is in the terrarium or should I case it?

If the contam is visable, especially the mean green, many times its too late. I'd say your best bet would be to just cut off the contaminated part and fruit it as a cake in its own small terrarium. The chances of the whole thing being contaminated are pretty good, so why go through the extra steps of casing?

wouldn't casing let me know if it's contaminated all they way. If you think cakes better whole that's what I'll do. I'm about to go home and just trying to get the best answer.

I think its a gonner already, so why go through the extra effort of casing.
