I didn't have any at the moment so I just said fuck it and I'm letting those little guys just grow how they do...this was more of a test run as I learned more about the process so I'm learning from my mistakes and hope to make far better future grows

Thanks for the help! My tub is just like Docs but 27qt. I'll grab a timer for the humidifier and some wax paper I'll post some porn as soon as I take it out of the bag in nine days.

We're already in a cult.
I didn't like the 27 msg as much as the tall rectangular one. Yield was about the same, but the tub is bigger and bulkier. So for anybody starting from scratch, I'd suggest this isn't the right tub. But it'll work ok.

My keen eye for the obvious never fails. I can spot trends years after they occur.

This MSG trend is finally starting to gain some momentum, it's been slow going. But I think now it's caught on for real.

Yup Doc I'm a follower! Lead me to the promise land! lol.
I must admit thou that I have been take two 27qt MSG's and placing them in a 105 qt tub, I find that it helps to keep in the humidity. Allows for a little more control in my point of view.
Each day once-twice a day depending...I air them out...So far it seems to be working. Let me know your thoughts on that

This definitely SHOULD catch on, it's easy as hell. I'll post some porn soon too, they should be ripe for pickin' tonight or tomorrow. I had a lot of side pinning, though... I had to move the tubs, and when I did so, they cracked and pulled away from the sides... I might have to try the trashbag next time

This is the 27 quart I picked up. Wally world only had these in blue handles. I am trying to emulate efarley's grow because his yield was massive. I do realize his results were largely due to genetics but it was Doc's thread here and efarleys that sold me on the idea of giving cultivation a try.
Anyhow, here is my tub for my next set of rye jars that are about done. I wanted to spawn them separately so I can learn from any mistakes.
Is this the same as the green handled ones?

If you're neglectful watch yourself with wax paper, I used wax paper once and ended up staying out for a while doin' thangs and when I got home, a couple of the mushrooms caps had rotted from sitting with wet wax paper on top of them... I had that in a greenhouse though with a humidifier so...

I am gone about 12 hours straight everyday, would you suggest no wax paper then? I will have my humidifier on a 30minute timer. No greenhouse.
This is my tub at 7 days inside a trash bag. The coir may look thick because it is coco husk. I bought the wrong thing but read in a thread that it is definitely okay to use if your rip it up really well, which I did. This is my first grow, any idea how much longer until bringing it into fruiting conditions?

Who wants to play find the green spots with me?

PS I had trich probs with coarse coir (coco husk) as well. I think the pieces are too big and the spores survive pasteurization. The myc did like it tho. It needs some extra pasteurizing imo.

Damnit, didn't see that! Where do you guys buy your coir, I went to PetSmart and they only had the coco husk.
I can dump and clean a contam'd tub right?
edit: I looked at my tub again in good light, I cannot verify any green at all. I'm going to give it some more time for sure.
