Sounds good, should I give it a little mist right now as I have put it into fruiting or should I give it a little bit to let some good evaporation happen before misting the first time?

Let it evaporate first. Sometimes mine go 3-4 days after birth w/o misting when the temps are low. Even when it's warm and dry they last a couple days.

Sounds good, as posted in my journal I have given a VERY light misting once a day and fanning twice a day as the FAE from the 1/2 inch holes seems to be working out very well but we will see once the pins start to form...

Don't bother with a light misting. If you can't wet it down, skip until next time. The cycle of drying and wetting is beneficial. Watch so it doesn't get too dry.

Is there a noticeable difference between using this by itself and using it in a green house? Also, is there a noticeable difference between a regular tray in a greenhouse and this in a green house? Thanks.

It all depends on the humidity where you are located...If you are in a low humidity area you would either want to put it in a GH or mist/fan more frequently if you are in a high humidity area you may not need a GH along with limited misting/fanning.

I have 4 quarts of rye in my 27 quart sterilite colonizing in a trash bag right now for my first grow! Seems like most people are flushing 2-3 times until contams take hold and you get rid of it. Can the mini SGFC be washed out and reused?
I'm in a dry climate but I bought a humidifier for my grow. Are there any considerations for using a humidifier with these mini SGFC? How long per day should I run it?
With the wax paper, are you only removing it to mist when the substrate looks too dry (once or twice a day)? When do you finally remove it for good?

in a SGFC you dont need a humidifier, if you do run one just run it in the room not in the chamber..
yes you can reuse the plastic bin's over an over again
i dont use wax paper, but if you do i would think it holds the moisture in so you shouldn't have to mist until you remove the wax paper for good?

Makes sense, I didn't use wax paper do to it not being around the house so I have been misting and it's going great...I can see the primordia on my substrate growing by the millimeter even every 4-5 hours so it's awesome when I go to sleep and see a good amount of growth overnight

Thank you! Should I run it 6-8 hours a day or so? I thought I read running it 24/7 is not a good idea.
Whats with all this wax paper talk above? I wasn't going to use it but just upthread there is a lot of chatter about it. This is my first grow, I live in a desert. Think I should use it? I'm not casing my tub because I read Docs advice that coir doesn't need casing.

The tub can last forever with a wash between uses.
Are you spawning to bulk with that rye? Are you making a casing? You say "SGFC" which uses holes on all 6 sides and perlite for humidity and is a fruiting chamber.
A Shotgun/Mono hybrid is typically a bulk tub with Shotgun holes on 5 sides for airflow, similar to SGFC, but is its own self-contained unit and requires no fruiting chamber.
You want the room humidity to be over 30-40 IMO. Right now i have a coolmist Ultrasonic running 24/7 and can barely keep an ambient 30% (heater on constantly with this winter storm), but your tub will be fine if your bulk sub doesn't get too dry (misting) and maintains EVAP (FAE).
I often leave the wax paper at all times, but you'll want it there at least through full pinset.

agree'd cubes you do not need to case...and again as i said i dont use wax paper either..but i would think it creates a micro-climate near the surface, sort of the same thing as a casing, but can be removed?

Try the wax paper. Humidifier on a timer, you can run it half an hour at a time.
