HELP!!!! don't want to lose em'
    #1071173 -

noticed some green or blue on the uncolonized substrate on the bottom of the jar. All else looks healthy white and took a whiff and smelled like mushies. HEard of casing before 100% and heard it's bad idea but don't know what to do. Also noticed a few specks of green in the white mycelium on another jar. It will fight it off though right? What should be done?

No idea what is it, and it might have a good change of fighting it off if your myeclium is strong enough. Take a picture and put this in the contamination forum.

no camera, looks like there is a lot a moisture there. I'm guessing it might have sucked in a contam when inverted with the tape removed. Dont' wanna lose em. Should I wait it out or cut out the questionable and case em.

if it's not that big of a spot, better safe than sorry. Try to get it out before it spreads.

should it be crumbled up to cake after removal of the spots or should I cut it out and stick in terarium as is?

Cut out the uncolonized part and break apart and case this sounds like the only way to try to save your cake.

I can't help you, the only contams I've had were massive and immediate. Just threw the whole thing out and sterilized the jar for a new batch. Looks like you'll just have to try what you think will work. All you've got to lose is a few cakes. Ya gotta live and learn. Good luck.

Be careful, green mold could be toxic! when you remove the green spots, also cut the cake in half to make sure theres no green inside. If there is, bye bye cake.

At least he got rid of that freakin scale.

Oh yeah, thisone, never listen to a thing MycoXpert, Shrooms4e, or LSAuser has to say. While he might get lucky and be right 1 time out of 500, it's just not worth the chance. There are a lot better "mycoxperts" on this site.
