Sketchbooks & Doodles
    #10698002 - 07/18/09 03:40 AM (14 years, 7 months ago)

Hope this becomes an active thread full of nice drawings . This is meant as a place for everyone to post their stuff in and not as some personal thing.

So yeah, just post your (new) drawings here.

Some things to start with:

Working on something

Newest, made it yesterday. I'm still not sure whether it's already finished though.

Ah, nice one... a praying mantis

I've got a small wacom tablet at home but I don't really use it often at all. Besides, I usually draw when I'm not at home (f.e. in the park and train).

A random quickie using Ink and grass

and a shot of a random texture thingy with spraypaint

Ok, got the chance to make some pics earlier today... The light conditions we're quite poor but oh well. Gives an idea

Beethoven, a pair of scissors, glue, spraypaint

First time with speed, impression of the night/morning... Split about 1-1.5 gram over the night, was with a few others of which some did the same.

Finished version of what you see me drawing in an earlier post.

Nic Endo portrait, unfinished at the moment (and with an ugly mistake over her face : [)

Unfinished

Unfinished

As you can see, none of these are in my sketchbook. I usually tear a piece of paper out and lay it on the cover . Hope you like the drawings and I hope to see some stuff by other forum members .

Your work is so beautiful!
I love the one in the first post with the brain and the chakra.
I know it says sketches and doodles but this is really all i do with my time. I would consider it doodling with paint...
I would put my sketches up but i need to get my girlfriends camera back.

Enjoi!

I did this one with oil pastels... just  freehanded it and made it colorful

I came into the possession of some oil paints so i dumpster dived for some wood to paint on and alas the finished product.

A friend left a mini canvas in my room so i painted it too. Its 3X5 or there abouts.

Another oil on wood.

Liberty caps in Holland? Yeah sure
Love my spot with Cyanescens though, can't wait till I can harvest.

NoxVolpes: Thank you
I love the first 2 paintings... Nice colors! I've always wanted to use oil paint. The way you could use it for textures etc really appeals to me.

For the last 2 days I've been doing stuff with branches, stones and some acrylic paint.

And I've made this one:

At some point I just thought "Why wouldn't I do something different for a change and use dots instead of lines"... Oh well, you can see the result above.

A rose in front of the Dark Tower, inspired by Stephen King's Dark  Tower Series :happyheart:

Doodling in class has become an everyday habit.

I want to make this into a stencil eventually.

Season-esque trees...

What i'm working on in Cultural Diversity now.

Unfinished Pastels

Forever unfinished Spiderman.

I like the one with the trees and the one after that the most. The change in color of the dots on the tree drawing is pretty nice.

Also, DO make a stencil of that wolf
